I Paint Music
I listen to music when I paint. It gives me the confidence to persevere when I am doubting myself.
It’s a powerful influence. When I sketch musicians, I seek the moment when the music, the musician and the movement become one.
Marks & Emotions
A simple mark; a shape,
a line, a color can tell a story, make a statement, pass judgement, communicate powerful feelings.
A mark can speak without words. Combining marks, lines, shapes and colors in a composition to express emotion is engaging.
