Cedar Mountain, NC April 1, 2005 - Hemlocks Studio, which has been providing artists retreats for many years, now offers its peacefulness and seclusion to individuals or companies wishing to find a location for their own unique brand of relaxation or offsite planning. 

Hemlocks customizes one to five day summer escapes for small groups wanting either a planned day of art instruction or specialized teachings. Scheduled “One Fine Day of Art” classes include Collage, Drawing and Design and Exploring Color and Value. Other opportunities that can be tailored to your group include Figure Drawing, Realism to Abstraction, Watercolor, Beginner Basics, and Mixed Media Exploration. Private instruction, portfolio consultations and critiques are also available. 

Hemlocks Studio can also accommodate One-Day Team Building Getaways, Three-Day Quilting Escapes and Strategic Planning Sessions. Or groups from 5 to 20 persons can plan their own escape with the assistance of Director Sue Russell. Lodging, meals and outside experts can also be provided for groups. 

Hemlocks Studio is located in peaceful and picturesque Cedar Mountain and is easily accessible from Greenville, Spartanburg and Brevard. The Studio seeks to provide a haven for artists, writers, quilters, musicians and business people needing a respite from the hustle of daily life.
